Anderson Race Car Drivers Arrested After Fight

Two racecar drivers have been arrested after getting into a fistfight following a crash on a Madison County racetrack that ended with a police officer using a stun gun on one of the drivers.

A video posted online from a Saturday night race at the Anderson Speedway shows one vehicle driving onto the second car’s hood after the crash. The driver of the second car then got out of his vehicle and punched the other driver while he was still inside his car.

An officer had to use a stun gun on the driver standing outside the cars. Both men were eventually taken away in handcuffs. One was charged with disorderly conduct while the other was charged with misdemeanor criminal recklessness.
