Nearly two dozen people have been arrested during sweeping drug raids in Grant County today that culminated a long investigation by multiple police agencies.
Indiana State Police Sergeant Tony Slocum says the raids began early today seeking out those who traffic illegal narcotics.
Slocum says 23 persons have been arrested in Grant and Delaware counties and more suspects are being sought.
Slocum says many of the warrants served were from Cass County because of drugs that were being brought into Grant County from the Logansport area.
Among those taking part in the raids were the Indiana State Police, Marion Police, the Grant County Sheriff’s Department and the Cass County Sheriff’s Department.
