Muncie School Board Must Decide Baule’s Fate

The Muncie School Board has been told it must decide the future of Superintendent Steven Baule’s contract.  The pact is set to expire at the end of June, but Baule must be notified by January first if it will be extended or will be allowed to expire.

Board members believed the decision was in the hands of the state since the state has taken over control of the school system.

If the board does nothing by January first, then Baule’s contract will be extended for another year
