As a way to expand access to early care and education programs throughout the state, Early Learning Indiana has awarded a grant of 100-thousand dollars to Kokomo Schools to create additional classroom seats.
Kokomo was granted that money to create 86 new, permanent preschool seats. The school system will use the funds to purchase materials and curriculum to make all five of its early education sites eligible for the state’s On My Way Pre-K program.
