Converse Library Plans Fund Drive For Renovations

Officials at the Converse Library are planning a fund drive to raise money for a complete renovation of the library as it nears its 100th anniversary.

The Converse Library was one of the Carnegie Libraries funded in the early 1900s.  It opened in 1918 and hasn’t been renovated during that time.

Fundraising efforts are just beginning to do a complete renovation of the 100-year old facility.
