Police Search For Man Responsible For 3 Local Robberies

Grant County authorities are searching for a man they believe committed three armed robberies in the past two weeks along 38^th Street in Marion.

The first robbery occurred January 25^th at the Village Pantry at 38^th and Lincoln next to the Marion V-A.  The second one took place at the Sav-On Liquor Store at 38^th & Adams Streets on January 29^th in which the clerk was beaten by the suspect.  The third robbery was at the Circle-K at 38^th and Washington Streets this past Friday.

In all three robberies, the bandit was described as a black male who wore a bandana over his face and was armed with a handgun.  He made off from each site with cash and either cigarettes or alcohol.
