At midnight tonight, the Federal government could shut down again unless the House and Senate can agree on a spending measure.
The House passed a spending plan earlier in the week that Fifth District Congresswoman Susan Brooks feels is good for all sides…especially the military, since it includes funding for them through later this year.
But the Congresswoman is worried that there could be changes that could keep the plan from passing. She says she’s keeping her fingers crossed that both sides can keep the government running.
Brooks is worried that too many in the Senate are worried about partisan politics instead of keeping the Federal government operating past midnight tonight.
