Former First Lady Michelle Obama spoke in Indianapolis Tuesday, delivering a message aimed at an audience of thousands of women.
Obama’s speech was not supposed to be political, but many said afterwards that it got them politically motivated.
Before a sellout crowd of 12-thousand that raised a million dollars for the Indianapolis Women’s Fund, the former first lady told young people to stand up for themselves and be prepared to take their place in the world when they reach adulthood.
