Muncie area residents will hold a rally this Sunday to demand comprehensive testing for contaminants at the old Exide Technologies smelter on the city’s south side.
The group plans to meet at 1 o’clock Sunday at Thomas Park and then caravan to the rally site near the Exide plant in the Industria Centre.
Concerns have been raised about lead pollution of soil, air and water at the factory and surrounding homes.
