The bill legalizing Sunday alcohol sales in Indiana has been approved by the State Senate. The final vote yesterday was 38-to-10.
The new law will go into affect the moment Governor Holcomb signs it, which Holcomb says he looks forward to doing early next week.
The Indiana House passed the measure earlier in the week with the amendment that it would immediately become law upon the Governor’s signature, rather than on July 1st. The House passed it unanimously.
