Flu Deaths Slowing Down in Indiana

The number of people dying from the flu this season in Indiana continues to go up, though the rate is slowing down according to officials from the State Department of Health.

Officials say 219 Hoosiers have died from complication from influenza this flu season. A majority of the deaths have occurred in Hoosiers age 65 and older.

Health Department officials say the most flu deaths have happened in Allen County with 18 so far this season. That’s followed by Marion County, Hamilton and Floyd Counties.
