Oak Hill Shifts Administrators & Approves Pool Renovations

The Oak Hill School Board has approved changes to the administrative team in Oak Hill Schools that will shift several principals to new positions.

According to the “Chronicle-Tribune,” the changes will include moving current Sweetser Elementary Principal Nijal Drollinger to become the Principal at Converse.  Current Oak Hill High School Assistant Principal Shawn Mearns will become the principal at Sweetser.  Shane Edwards will become the Assistant Principal at Oak Hill High School and his current position as Director of Support Services will be eliminated.  And current Converse Elementary Principal Valerie Kinch will become Oak Hill’s Director of Curriculum and Assessment.

The board also approved renovation plans for the swimming pool at Oak Hill, which will take place during the summer and cost an estimated 800-thousand dollars and will be paid for through a Common School loan.
