A fifth grader from Park Elementary in Fairmount is this year’s champion of the Grant County Spelling Bee.
Evan Bishir won yesterday’s event…outlasting 69 other spellers from around the area. Bishir‘s winning word was “charlatan.”
Bishir will now head to Washington D-C in late May to take part in the 91st annual Scripts National Spelling Bee.
