Unemployment in this area remained very low in March, as it did all across Indiana.
In this area, all counties reported jobless rates below four-percent. Grant County’s unemployment rate in March was just 3.6-percent, as was neighboring Blackford County. Delaware and Madison counties have the highest unemployment rate in the area at 3.8-percent. The lowest is in Wells and Tipton counties at just 2.8-percent.
Indiana’s jobless rate last month was just 3.3-percent.
