The Howard County Recycling Director has been suspended for two weeks without pay, after calling a state auditor “unattractive and clueless” in a Facebook rant.
Mikki Jeffers’ suspension includes a written reprimand and she was ordered to complete a sensitivity training course.
The discipline comes after Jeffers blasted the state’s handling of an audit of the district on her personal Facebook page.
