A former Marion City Councilwoman hopes she can win the nomination for State Auditor tomorrow during the Democratic Party’s State Convention.
At the present time, Jocelyn Whitticker is the only announced candidate for State Auditor on the Democratic side. She says she wants the job to be a conservative overseer of state government…
Whitticker says she’s qualified for the Auditor’s job by virtue of her managerial skills acquired through her teaching and Principal’s jobs along with her experience as a former City Council member and current member of the Marion Board of Public Works.
If she wins the Democratic nomination tomorrow, Whitticker would face current State Auditor Tera Klutz.
