Governor & Others Call For A-G Hill’s Resignation

Governor Eric Holcomb and several top lawmakers are now calling on Indiana’s attorney general to resign over allegations of inappropriate conduct.

Attorney General Curtis Hill is accused of groping four women, including a state lawmaker and three staffers, at an Indianapolis bar in March. For his part, Hill denies the claims and says he will not resign.

Yesterday, Governor Eric Holcomb said the Attorney General needs to step down.

Lieutenant Governor Suzanne Crouch put her support behind the governor, saying in a statement, “Sexual harassment should never be tolerated.”

And Thursday evening, House Speaker Brian Bosma and Senate President Pro Tem David Long issued a statement calling for Hill’s resignation.
