Juveniles Arrested For Marion Convenience Store Holdups

Three juveniles have been charged with Armed Robbery for holding up a Marion convenience store that was robbed twice within 24-hours last week.

Marion Police say 15 and 13-year old girls worked together to rob the Marion Pantry in the 34-hundred block of South Washington Street last Wednesday night.  One was armed with a handgun.  Surveillance video from the store helped officers identify the girls, who were arrested over the weekend and charged with Armed Robbery.

Police then received information from the two girls that led them to arrest a 13-year old male who robbed the same convenience store earlier in the day last Wednesday.

All three juveniles are now being held in the Grant County Juvenile Detention Center.

No one was injured in either holdup.
