The Kokomo City Council continues to move forward in annexing the Darrough Chapel area of Center Township.
The city wants to annex the neighborhood and the city council Monday night approved a measure on first reading that would accomplish that. It’s something most residents in the Darrough Chapel area also want.
Final passage of the annexation plan could come as early as September.
