Indiana Senator Todd Young said Monday that many communities are being hit with an affordable housing crisis. This is why he is bringing a bipartisan bill to the Senate floor to create a task force to analyze the impacts of affordable housing and to make a list of recommendations to Congress.
Young said a lack of affordable housing has a direct impact on educational performance and economic mobility. He added that it also has an impact on the effectiveness of government programs.
