The Indiana Department of Natural Resources says the application deadline is drawing near for hunters to take part in deer reduction hunts at 19 state park in November.
Applications must be received by August 20th.
Sixteen of the properties where hunting will take place will be by firearms only. Three others will be archery only.
The hunt dates are November 12th and 13th and November 26th and 27th.
Applications are available online and successful applicants will be allowed to take up to three deer, but only one can be antlered.
