One of the oldest businesses in downtown Kokomo will soon be a thing of the past. Granson Jewelers at the corner of Main and Walnut Streets is going out of business.
Owner Dave Granson announced that he’s retiring and will close the store where he’s worked for over 50-years. He joined Engel Jewelers in 1945 and bought the store, then changed the name to Granson’s just a few years ago.
Granson’s will close for good on Christmas Eve.
