The Taylor University Department of Music, Theatre, and Dance is presenting their newly formed Exploration of Global Music Ensemble in their first concert.
The event is this Saturday from 7:30-8:30 p.m.
The group explores traditional music from around the world through hands-on experience.
In this program, ‘A Feast pf World Music’, students will perform on instruments and sing songs from Myanmar, China, Indonesia, Thailand, India and the U.S. Also featured will be guest artist Ling Shi and several of her students performing music from China using Pipa.
Admission is free.
