Gas City Police Department (GCPD) Chief Tim Eckstein died yesterday at Ascension St. Vincent Hospital.
According to the Marion County Coroner, Eckstein likely died of natural causes.
Law enforcement agencies throughout Grant County and the surrounding areas have been sharing their condolences to both GCPD and Eckstein’s family, remembering Eckstein as a “valiant leader.”
