Angel Tree Still has 125 Names

by Sammy Edmonds posted Dec 9 2013 3:17PM
The list of names of needy children on the Salvation Army’s Angel Tree in Grant County continues to get smaller, but about 125 names remain.

Salvation Army Lieutenant Dana Bigelow says she’s thrilled that out of the one-thousand names that were on the list originally, nearly 90-percent have been claimed.  And Bigelow says that makes her proud.

Friday is the final day to pick up a name at the Angel Trees at either the Five Points Mall or at T-J Maxx.

Bigelow says after Friday you can still get a tag with a child’s name and needs by calling the Salvation Army in Marion.  They need the gifts to be returned by next Thursday so they can organize the gifts and distribute them on December 19th.
