Another Cold Front to Bring Strong Winds and More Snow

by Sammy Edmonds posted Jan 29 2014 3:25PM
A new cold front is moving in across the state bringing with it strong winds and another inch of snow on East Central Indiana before midnight.

Winds of 30 to 40 miles per hour will likely cause blowing and drifting snow on roadways making driving difficult.

Cold temps are expected to stay with us for several days and into next week.

Indiana Department of Transportation officials are urging motorists to be prepared before driving in inclement weather conditions.  They say crashes and slide-offs impact their routine of plowing and treating the roads, and can jeopardize the safety of motorists.
