A Ball State University survey finds that the number of college students using tablets is on the decline.
Michael Hanley is director of Ball State University‘s Institute for Mobile Media Research. He says the number of students who use tablets has dipped from 30-percent...that‘s when iPads first came out. Hanley says that‘s because an increasing number of students believe tablets are more suitable for entertainment rather than academic and educational purposes. The survey shows that laptops and P-C’s are still the most popular for those purposes.
Hanley says tablets are most popular with those in the 25 to 45 year age range.
