Café Valley Behind Schedule But Moving Forward

by Sammy Edmonds posted May 22 2014 4:25PM
The harsh Indiana winter weather has put Marion’s new Café Valley plant about a month behind schedule, but officials say are getting close to beginning production.

Most of the management staff for the new baked-goods maker has been hired, including Plant Manager Scott Shelley.  And Café Valley Human Relations Director Katherine Kuhn says those still interested in working at Café Valley should keep checking their website.
A majority of the production workers for the local plant have either been hired recently or will be hired in the next few weeks.

Café Valley hopes to begin full production in Marion by late May to serve the Midwest and eastern portions of the United States.
