Eastbrook Schools Superintendent Brett Garrett Monday proposed a major improvement project which would potentially start in May.
The project estimated at more than $1.6 million would include construction of an artificial turf, multi-purpose soccer field on the high school campus. Select schools would undergo immediate security enhancements and renovations. And the high school chemistry room would also undergo major improvements.
The project would increase the property tax rate for homeowners by 3 cents.
Eastbrook’s next regular meeting will include an information session on the project, and the public is encouraged to attend.
