One of the most distinguished and decorated women from the past half-century will become the newest “World Changer” at Indiana Wesleyan University.

Elizabeth Dole will be inducted into IWU’s Society of World Changers in October during a special convocation in the Chapel Auditorium.

Spokesman Alan Miller says Elizabeth Dole has had a long and illustrious career in public service, including as a United States Senator, Secretary of Labor, Secretary of Transportation, President of the American Red Cross, Founder of the Elizabeth Dole Foundation and she’s the wife of Bob Dole, former Republican Presidential candidate.

Elizabeth Dole will become the 12th inductee into the Society of World Changers and the third woman inducted. The ceremony on October 3rd will be part of IWU’s Homecoming activities.
