Authorities say flooding problems have been relatively minor so far from heavy rains on Thursday and early today.
The Grant County Sheriff’s Department reports County Road 7500 East at Road 300 South is closed due to high water, but that is the only local road officially closed due to flooding. Police say there are numerous other reports of water across roads that motorists should watch out for.
The Mississinewa River at Marion crested at about 11.4 feet early this morning and is now falling. Flood Stage is at 12 feet.
