A former high school principal in Madison County turned himself in to authorities Sunday following a lengthy investigation connecting him with child exploitation and other charges.
Former Frankton High School Principal Jerry Hoss was arrested following investigations involving Hoss and two students. Hoss reportedly sent a 16-year old female student text messages in August of 2013 requesting she take nude photos of herself. He also apparently sent photos of his chest and abdominal area to her phone. Further investigation revealed that in November of 2012, Hoss reportedly asked a 17-year old female student to come drink at his house.
Hoss was later removed as principal by the Frankton-Lapel School Board, and he officially resigned last August.
Hoss now faces felony charges of Child Exploitation and two counts of Official Misconduct, plus a misdemeanor charge of Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor. He’s now free on bond.
