If the price of gas is still low where you are, you might want to get some unless you want to pay about 40 cents per gallon more. Markets are pushing the prices up, mainly due to the Federal Reserve‘s announcement that it was scaling back its bond-buying program designed to boost the economy. Patrick DeHaan with GasBuddy.com says most stations will boost gas prices by 30 to 40 cents a gallon, but for a short stint.
This week, prices have been as low as 2.81 a gallon in parts of Indiana, some of the lowest gas prices in the entire country.
