Griffith Items Found in Abandoned Car By Police

by Sammy Edmonds posted Aug 25 2014 3:14PM
Testimony concluded for the week yesterday in the murder trial of James Griffith, who is accused of killing 81-year old Duwayne Lindsey in his Marion home in the summer of 2012.

Marion Police investigators testified they found items belonging to Griffith inside a car that Griffith and co-defendant Lacy Bradley allegedly abandoned along a street in Warren a few days after Lindsey was killed in his home during a robbery.  They also found items in the car that belonged to Lindsey.

Investigators believe Griffith and Bradley abandoned the car after driving away from the scene and before they headed to Kentucky.  They were arrested by Kentucky State Police on un-related charges and later linked to Lindsey’s murder.

Griffith’s trial won’t resume until Monday because of the Holiday weekend.
