A forensics expert testified yesterday that blood from the victim of a local murder was found on the shoes of the man accused of killing him.
The expert testified that the blood of Duwayne Lindsey was found on the shoes of James Griffith, who is accused of killing Lindsey during a robbery in July of 2012. The expert testified that it is highly unlikely that the blood could have been from anyone else and blood samples were found on both of Griffith’s shoes.
Griffith...who is acting as his own attorney...questioned the expert about the possibility that someone else could have been wearing his shoes when Lindsey was killed.
The prosecution is expected to rest its case against Griffith later today, then Griffith will present his defense in the trial, which is in its second week in Grant County Superior Court One.
