Griffith Trial Winding Down-Prosecution Rests

by Sammy Edmonds posted Aug 25 2014 3:27PM
The Prosecution rested its case yesterday against James Griffith, who is accused of robbing and killing an elderly Marion man two years ago.

Prosecutors played a video of an interview that police conducted with Griffith, where they claimed they could show clear evidence that Griffith was in the house when 81-year old Duwayne Lindsey was killed.  When the officer that was interviewing Griffith left the room, Griffith allegedly used a paper clip to try and change the appearance of his finger prints.

Griffith...who is acting as his own attorney...claimed the video was inconclusive.  He began presenting his defense late in the day and will continue to do so when the trial resumes today in Grant County Superior Court One.
