Indiana-Michigan Power officials say progress is slow but steady as they work to resume electricity in the Marion area following Sunday’s violent storms.
More than half of those originally affected by the outages have now seen their power come back on in the Marion area, and I & M spokesman Tracy Warner says additional crews are coming to Grant County today to help with what has been a difficult situation.
Warner says barring a major problem, all I & M customers in Grant County should get their electricity restored by late Thursday afternoon.
Warner says nearly 100 power poles have had to be replaced in Grant County because of the storm damage.
