The new Nursing and Health Sciences Building at Indiana Wesleyan University has officially been named after a local family that provided a major financial gift to the university.
Gary and Connie Ott and their family own and operate TLC Management, which manages several healthcare facilities in the area. The couple met during their freshman year at Indiana Wesleyan and they’ve remained active at the school ever since.
I-W-U officials say the Ott family made a multi-million dollar donation to the school to help fund the new building, which will more than double the facilities for the Nursing and Health Sciences at I-W-U.
The Ott Building will open in the fall and will be formally dedicated in October.
