Testimony began yesterday in the murder trial of a former Marion man who is accused of robbing and killing an elderly Marion man in 2012.
James Griffith is accused of the murder of 81-year old Duwayne Lindsey. Witnesses recounted yesterday how they found Lindsey’s body inside his home on South Adams Street in July of 2012. And a Kentucky State Trooper recounted how he stopped Griffith and co-defendant Lacey Bradley on un-related charges and how he found stolen items from Lindsey’s home that eventually linked them to his murder and led them back to Grant County.
Bradley is also charged with Lindsey’s murder, but will be tried separately.
James Griffith is acting as his own attorney in his murder trial, which continues today in Grant County Superior Court One.
