The winter storm means that the Indiana General Assembly won’t begin it‘s session on time.
The session won‘t begin until Tuesday at the earliest after Governor Pence ordered all state government offices closed, though essential personnel are reporting to work.
Because of the delay in the session, the deadline for lawmakers to file bills has been extended by one day to next Monday.
