MHS Evacuated Because of Bomb Threat

Marion High School was evacuated early this afternoon after something suspicious was found inside the school building after a bomb threat had been called in to the school.
Students were first placed on a Level 2 Lockdown at about 11:30 this morning when the threat was received.  That meant students were being kept inside their classrooms and no one could enter or leave the building.
But at about 12:15, something suspicious was found inside the high school, prompting school officials and police to evacuate the building.
Marion High School students were taken to Luckey Arena at Indiana Wesleyan University where they were then released to their parents.
Marion Police and Marion school officials are investigating the incident.
