A Marion man has been charged in Huntington County with striking a health care worker during an ambulance ride last summer.
According to the Huntington “Herald-Press,” 28-year old Ronald Poling Junior called for help last August and asked to be taken to Parkview-Huntington Hospital after saying he’d used meth for seven straight days. As he was being transported to the Huntington hospital, Poling became agitated and struck an ambulance worker in the chest. The ambulance personnel eventually handcuffed Poling to a gurney and called the Huntington County Sheriff’s department.
Poling faces charges of Battery on a Health Care Worker in Huntington County, though he is being held in the Grant County Jail.
