Marion May Require Spay and Neuter of Pets

by Sammy Edmonds posted Jan 20 2014 3:53PM
Pet owners in Marion may want to attend a meeting tomorrow (Tues) regarding possible changes in the city’s animal care ordinance, which Ordinance Committeeman Jim Brunner says if passed, will create a mandate.
Brunner says stray cats and dogs within the city are a growing problem.  But he says the committee is now soliciting public comment before they take a vote.
The public hearing will take place in City Council Chambers of the Marion Municipal Building at 5pm Tuesday, weather permitting.
