With just days left to file in Grant County, more democrats are showing up on the ballot for the May Primary.
Andrea Debruler of Gas City has filed to run for Grant County Coroner on the Democratic Ticket.  Deputy Coroners Roger Eib and Chris Butche are running on the Republican ticket.  Incumbent Stephen Dorsey is barred by law from seeking a third term.
A Democratic candidate has filed to run for Grant County Prosecutor.  Attorney David Payne has filed his candidacy, with Jim Luttrell Junior running for re-election on the Republican ticket.
Meanwhile, there’s now a third candidate on the Republican ballot for State Treasurer.  Richmond businessman Don Bates has filed his candidacy with the State GOP.  He’ll face Marion Mayor Wayne Seybold and Deputy State Treasurer Kelly Mitchell at the GOP Convention in June.
Friday is the deadline for candidates to file for the May Primary or the State Party conventions.
