Muncie Church Flooded by Broken Pipes

by Sammy Edmonds posted Jan 21 2014 4:06PM
A Muncie church will hold services Sunday, even though the church’s main building was found flooded Wednesday because of burst sprinkler pipes.

The “Star Press” reports officials at the Union Missionary Baptist Church discovered more than an inch of water standing throughout the building Wednesday morning.  Pipes in a sprinkler system apparently burst sometime Tuesday night, flooding the building.

Church leaders have moved many items into their old sanctuary next door and plan to hold services there this Sunday, despite the water damage.
