Muncie Motorist Intentionally Struck Bicyclist

by Sammy Edmonds posted May 22 2014 4:26PM
A Muncie man faces charges after police say he intentionally struck a bicyclist along a city street.
20-year old Keith Day faces preliminary charges of Criminal Recklessness, Aggressive Driving and Leaving the Scene of an Accident.
Police say he got into a shouting match with a bicycle rider along Riverside Drive, yelling at him that “motorists have the right of way.”  The biker allegedly yelled back for Day to “learn to drive.”  That’s when police say Day drove his car into the bike, throwing the rider to the pavement but not causing serious injuries to the unidentified rider.
Day is now free on bond.
