NASA Again Will Try to Send up Taylor University Satellite

by Sammy Edmonds posted Aug 25 2014 3:09PM
Will the 4th time be the charm for Taylor University?

NASA officials say the private Space-X rocket will try again to launch on Friday from Cape Canaveral, Florida.  On board will be a small satellite designed and built by engineering students from Taylor University.  Also on board will be needed supplies and equipment for the International Space Station.

The launch of the rocket has been delayed three times in the past few weeks, the latest being Monday when the launch was scrubbed less than one hour before liftoff due to a leaking hydrogen tank.

Officials at Taylor University are again crossing their fingers...hoping their satellite will go into space on Good Friday.
