A new residence hall at Taylor University will be dedicated during this weekend’s homecoming activities in honor of the late Doctor Ruth Ann Breuninger.
Breuninger Hall will be named after the late professor and founder of Taylor’s Lighthouse program, where students travel across the country and around the world on mission-related endeavors.
University spokesman Jim Garringer says Breuninger should be recognized for her involvement in developing the program.
The 10-million dollar project is one of the largest residence halls on the Taylor campus.
Other homecoming events planned for this weekend at Taylor include athletic events, alumni awards and inductions into the university’s athletic Hall of Fame.
