Police Urge Motorists Not to Travel Certain Streets

by Sammy Edmonds posted Jan 20 2014 4:00PM
Marion Police are urging motorists to not travel many unplowed side streets.  Officials say those streets are impassable due to drifting snow.

Police say a tow truck was rescued from the area of Miller Avenue near Kem Road Monday after getting stuck in a snow drift.

Although main roads such as Baldwin Avenue are plowed and accommodating of essential travel, Marion Police are urging motorists to not try and travel down an unplowed road until crews can get to the area.
