Reflections on Shull?s Service

by Sammy Edmonds posted Feb 26 2014 10:29AM
As Grant County Sheriff’s Deputy Jerry Shull transitions into retirement others are reflecting on his forty years that he devoted to local law enforcement.

Grant County Sheriff Darryl Himelick says it was Shull who influenced him in his career path.

During his tenure, Shull served as head of the Sheriff’s Reserves, and chaired the Community Corrections Advisory Board and the Jail Overcrowding Committee.

Shull says although his career in law enforcement has come to a close, he will continue to serve as the Grant County Republican Chairman.

Shull’s position with the Sheriff’s Department was grant-funded, and it’s unknown if and when his position will be replaced.
